Chris Peterson, has over 20 years of experience in sales leadership, with a focus on developing strategies, processes, and tools for technology businesses in the security space. After Chris graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, he decided to embark on a sales career by selling copiers for Danka Corporation – where he learned as much about himself as he learned about selling. After two successful years at Danka, Chris used his engineering degree and sales degree to start his career in technology sales and sales leadership.
Well versed in building the tactical details of an effective sales structure, Chris has developed an understanding of the human dynamics that lead to a successful sales organization – connecting strategy to action. Prior to starting Vector Firm, Chris served as Executive Vice President of BRS Labs, Vice President of Business Development for ICx Technologies, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Digital Infrared Imaging.
Chris lives in downtown Orlando, FL with his wife Shannon and daughter Manhattan; where he is an active volunteer in the Odyssey of the Mind educational program and a contributor to the Easter Seals Camp Challenge of Central Florida. Chris is a Competent Communicator Toastmaster, enjoys working out, playing tennis and golf, keeping up with new sales methods and watching any Florida Gator athletic event.
